AvtoVAZ will produce a budget based on the Nissan Logan

As stated by the media CEO, Nissan Motor Rus Francois Goupil de Bouyer, the novelty will be made based on the Renault Logan. Since the end of 2012 production will be established at the facilities of AvtoVAZ. According to the representative of Nissan, the company will invest in those market segments that are rapidly evolving. It is planned to ramp up production of cheap sedan to 70 thousand cars per year.

According to preliminary data, budget car will be radically different from the Renault Logan, which hosted its Construct. As for the possibility to use the power of Russia's AvtoVAZ to build this model, the head of Nissan Motor Rus said that plans for the organization of production in Togliatti are only part of a possible strategy for the company.
