Micromotor for Micra

Three-cylinder engine HR12DDR, the exact capacity of which has not yet disclosed, will be disposed of only 95 grams of CO2 per 100 km and is designed for the new Micra. In the motor a whole bunch of interesting decisions, starting with the fact that it applied the Miller cycle with a shorter compression stroke and direct injection gasoline. Unusual is turned off (like air conditioning compressor) turbocharger and the system stops the engine at idle. Up to 30% fuel savings could be gained by using a special coating piston ring structure similar to diamond, but without the hydrogen content, as well as the oil pump with variable output.
