According Penkova, it is premature to talk about any specific amount of payment for parking, including those in central Moscow. Neither the Moscow government, nor the executive authorities of any decision on this matter was not taken, clarified the mayor's press secretary, explaining, however, that in accordance with Federal Law of April 21, 2011 № 69-FZ "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts Russian Federation, state authorities of the Russian Federation has the right to make decisions about using a fee-based parking, located on public roads.
Appropriate decisions about using parking garages for a fee and the amount of parking fees will be accepted by the authorized bodies of executive power in Moscow, taking into account the location of parking, traffic conditions in a particular area, the presence or absence of alternatives for temporary storage of vehicles and a number of other circumstances. |
