This was announced by the deputy head of the Department of Road Safety Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kuzin. According to him, the main innovation is that now in the top right corner of the certificate of the accident will indicate the exact coordinates of the site, as well as information about all the victims of the accident. In addition, if the scene was caused by an emergency ambulance, then a certificate will be entered her room.

These changes should simplify the communication of citizens with insurance companies: the victims will not have to prove their status - all the necessary information about them will already be present in the certificate of the accident. And fixing the exact coordinates of the scene will allow the traffic police to make an electronic map of accident and quickly identify pockets to prevent further accidents. The coordinates of the accident will be determined by the GLONASS system and its analogs.

The old form of the blank about the accident will be valid until April 1, 2012.
