In Russia, introducing new drivers license

The new document will meet all international requirements spelled out in the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic Safety of the UN. In an international driving permit (IDP) now appeared sub-categories and images of vehicles. The same appear on the new Russian driving permits. In this case, use the old law will be up to their expiration dates.

Currently, the term "subcategory" does not exist in national law, but the Interior Ministry has already prepared a bill, which introduces a sub-category. Thus, in the category "A" will appear subcategory A1 (light motorcycles with engine capacity not exceeding 125 cubic meters. Cm and power of 15 hp..). Category "C" to add a subcategory of "C1" (trucks with a maximum weight not exceeding 7.5 tonnes). Category «D» expand due to the sub-«D1» (buses with 16 seats). For cars "C1" with a trailer whose permissible maximum mass of which exceeds 750 kg, will be the subcategory "C1E". Marking D1E "appears to control the vehicle category« D1 »a trailer, not designed to transport people.

Another difference between the new model of international human rights from the old - the appearance of images of vehicles in front of the respective categories. The rest of the international law remain the same. They will be a piece of paper, folded in the "little book". As before, the validity of driver's license is 3 years or until the expiration of the national rights - whichever occurs sooner.
